F4’s work was called The Interpreter, was included in the exhibition entitle FAKE, at the Modem Contemporary Art Gallery, Debrecen, Hungary in 2010 as part of the Intermodem Project.

This body of work consists of the above four images of F4 members bound with ‘news’ paper clad fake wounds; pretend blood seeping into the narrative space of the printed page.

The video accompanying these images is the play-dough-made ‘Wound’ video that features on The Ordnance 2010 page. In Hungary the video was also projected onto a speaker, however, for this exhibition, the speaker was placed behind a wall so that you had to view it through an aperture, reinforcing the notion of seeing the world through a view finder – the news.
